Hello everyone. I am truly blessed to be able to release another blog this Monday. The title of this blog came from a play I watched years ago. When I think about fabric, certain ones come to mind, such as cotton linen polyester and one of the finest silk.
What is the purpose of fabric? And more importantly, how do you possibly compare to a person. Well, let's talk about a few. The two that I want to speak the most about are polyester and silk. When I looked up what polyester is, the first thing that stands out to me is "synthetic fiber." So I don't know about you guys, but when I hear the word synthetic, I immediately think of something not real, you know, "Fake." Okay, so polyester is synthetic so, what about silk?
What is Silk? It is fine, strong, soft, lustrous fiber. When it comes to material, silk is at the top. Think about that for a moment. What type of people do you find yourself attracted to? Sometimes we wonder why we are attracted to certain people. Well, when you settle for less "cheap fabric," You get exactly the items that don't last. So, my beautiful ladies. Please keep in mind that we are called to love generously from the heart. When we begin to cast judgment on others, we lose who we are as an individual.
"So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin."
James 4:17 ESV
Okay, ladies, let us chat about this.
What fabrics do you find yourself turning to and why?
What attracts you to that fabric?
